Lord Mansfield Dressing Room


The four rooms at the South Front, starting with Lord Mansfield’s Dressing Room, house Lord Iveagh’s bequest.

Lord Iveagh,
Edward Cecil Guinness, was the great-grandson of Arthur Guinness, and he bought the house from the Earl of Mansfield.

He gave 63 important paintings to the Nation, including “Self Portrait” by Rembrandt, “The Iveagh Sea-Piece” by J. M. W. Turner and “James Stuart” by Sir Anthony Van Dyck

You can view the interior rooms of Kenwood House each day, including week ends, from 10am to 5pm
(closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day)
