Henry Robinson Wadmore was born in London. He was MA Oxford 1845 (Pembroke), ordained 1846, MA 1848.
Wadmore was a talented amateur draughtsman and prolific sketcher. His English scenes include the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire and mountains of the Lake District, as well as often depicting churches, abbeys, cathedrals and ecclesiastical buildings, including Hampstead, Wells, Worcester, Ely and St Albans.
