THE UPPER FLASK

Was located in Heath Street
(Eighteenth Century)
Like The Lower Flask, the name refers to vessels for collecting The Hampstead Waters.

The Upper Flask, as differentiated from The Lower Flask (Flask Tavern)in Flask Walk, was a popular venue in the eighteenth century.
It was associated with "The Kit Kat Club"with its strong Whig, political and literary connections.

It was converted to a private house about 1750 and demolished in 1921.
