The PARK LAKES ~
Generally described today as "ponds", the author prefers the term "lakes", which was that used to describe these delightful areas in the early twentieth century.
There are three lakes, Upper, Middle and Lower (as can be located on the map)
The lakes are all fed by natural springs.
Conservation is a key element of Waterdale Park.
In a continual quest for balance, the area in the north, surrounding the Upper Lake, is designated for wildlife that it might have a quiet corner to feed and nest undisturbed.
